Check-in and check-out times

Check-in is from 6PM.

For late arrivals, self-service check-in is available via a secure key lockbox.

Checkout time is before 10AM.

Guaranteeing the reservation

The reservation is guaranteed once the deposit is received by the proprietor.  
For a 2-to-3-night stay:  A deposit of 50% of the total reservation amount is required to reserve the cottage. The balance is due at check-in.
For a stay of more than 4 days: A deposit of 50% of the total reservation amount is required. The balance is due 45 days before your arrival.
Please note, the deposit is non-refundable.
In addition, a tourist tax of 2.48€ is payable per adult per night.

Cancellation by the client

All cancellations must be made via an email addressed to the proprietor.

For cancellations 30 days before the arrival date: the deposit is forfeited. 
For cancellations less than 30 days before arrival date: the deposit is forfeited and the remainder of the reservation amount is payable, except if the proprietor is able to re-rent the cottage for the reserved dates.

In the case where a stay is cut short, the total cost of the reservation remains payable to the proprietor.

Arrival

The client is expected to arrive at the specified date and time of the reservation.
If the client wishes to arrive earlier than the normal check-in time, he/she must contact the proprietor before 2PM to confirm if the cottage is ready. However, the preference is to respect the normal check-in time as we need sufficient time to prepare the cottage after each stay.

Use of the property

The client is expected to respect the peacefulness of the property and its intended purpose.

Cleaning services for the stay are included.  
The kitchen area is to be left clean with all tableware and utensils washed, dried and stored away in the cupboard.

Occupancy

The number of persons specified in the reservation must be respected for security reasons.  No persons outside of those included in the reservation are to enter the cottage without the express permission and consent of the proprietor.

Animals

Limited to one small dog per reservation upon request.

Security deposit

A security deposit of 450€ is required for all stays of 7 days or more.  The security deposit covers any damages or degradation done to the cottage, its grounds or its furnishings.  The deposit is returned to the renter at check-out after an inspection of the property by the proprietor. 

In the event of damages or degradations during the stay, the client is liable for any repair or replacement costs exceeding the security deposit.

No Smoking

Smoking is not permitted in the interior of the cottage.

Payment

Online reservations and credit card payment available via the Airbnb platform (in this case reservation, contract and cancellation terms of Airbnb apply)

Payment by check or cash also possible at check-in via reservation made directly with the proprietor of the cottage.
